Challenges:

The challenge that came with lighting this field was that the site was already completed with beautiful landscaping and subsoil drainage. In terms of electrical works, there was not much space for the cable laying without destroying the existing drainage system, whereas in terms of lighting design, the pole position of where the footing was supposed to be placed at had concrete slabs on it.

Scope:

To install 16nos. of 1.6kW new AAA-LUX Led Floodlight onto 4nos. of 18m fixed type type pole

Solution:

Extra precautionary measures were taken to ensure the site and landscape was not damaged. For the electrical works, all the cables were lai in the drain to minimize damages, whereas for lighting design, the poles were placed as close together to the original position and repositioned the aiming to get a good average illumination. Also with the usage of the crane, the ground was layered with wooden planks to ensure minimal to no damages.
