Challenges:

The challenge that came with lighting this field was that the site was a completed site. The accessibility onto the field was hard as it was very steep. In terms of electrical works, two poles had faulty cabling which needed to be rectified before retrofitting works could begin.

Scope:

To replace 56 nos. of 1.5kW Metal Halide floodlight with 16 nos. 1.6kW new AAA-Lux LED floodlight on existing 20m fixed type high mast.

Solution:

Extra precautionary measures were taken to ensure the site was not damaged. A spider crane was used to access the poles and lighting to do the retrofitting works.
